The Role:

We are looking for an experienced class 4 Hiab Driver to join us. The ideal candidate will have full, clean class 4 NZ Driver’s License, experience driving a Hiab in and out of a variety of sites and various ground/surfaces. Have a current truck loader crane ticket (HIAB/Pal finger), be reliable and fit and enjoy working in a construction team.

 

You will also have experience driving all classes of vehicles and be a skilled labourer with experience in building construction projects. Need to have RTW certifications.

 

This role will have the following responsibilities:

•  Delivering masonry blocks/bricks and building frames on sites

• Assist with other construction activities on site as required 

•  Keeping the Supervisor/ Leading hand informed of construction statues/challenge/safety issues

•  Operate Construction Plant safety

•  Perform day-today construction activities; civil/structures / underground works

• Collecting a consignment from our suppliers and completing deliveries on our sites 

• Operating crane and lifting equipment in a safe and responsible manner
