The Role:

We are after a Spotter to join our team at the Ormiston site. You will have recent civil or construction experience in spotting and knows how to expand driver’s/operators’ sense for right, left, front and rear space cushions. You will be helping our drivers and machine operators on site when they don’t have a full view of the working area and you’ll be responsible for directing them to avoid any possibility of injury and property damage. You’ll maintain eye contact with the driver/operator, even if you need to change position frequently, and communicate well to direct drivers/operators on position, backing, movement and plan with the operators before proceeding.

About you / Responsibility:

-Have a high level of attention to detail to ensure the job is done in the safest manner possible to avoid injury

- Warning others onsite of any unsafe approaches to a job or project

-Have site safety procedure training

- Good communication skills and knows how to use standardized signals
