The role:

We’re after an experienced Landscape Team Leader to work as a member of the team and direct the team members at the job site. You must be someone who enjoys working outside every day and have a recent experience in commercial and residential doing landscape both hard and softscape. Prior leadership experience and/or a minimum of 2 years of professional landscape maintenance experience are preferred.

About you/Responsibility:

Can Plan, schedule, assign and supervise the duties associated with landscape construction including site and crew management Knows how to operate a variety of equipment including a skid loader, compact track loader, mini excavator, and other related equipment Can lead a team of 3-5 landscaping specialists and organize, supervise, manage, and lead them with established guidelines to complete the job within the accepted timeframe. Knows how to read, interpret, and utilise plot maps for landscape construction and knows how to safely operate and maintain all equipment used for landscape maintenance Communicate with the Landscape Specialists, Site Supervisors, and other relevant stakeholders regarding the progress of the project Demonstrates dependability and commits to the required hours for job completion and must be able to stand, bend, and squat for extended periods Can work safely and lead the team to complete assigned tasks, maintain company quality standards and take directions from the construction supervisors
